There comes a point when we have to part with the little ones - whether to go to work, to a doctor's appointment,
or just for a sanity break. The choice you make at this point is one of the most important
decisions you make as a parent - who
will care for your baby in your absence.
There are several choices available. There is a nanny, either live-in (au-pair),
or visiting. If you only need a few hours, call a
babysitter.
Another option is a daycare center. A few choices are available there -
in-home daycare, a daycare facility,
or a drop-in center where you can leave your baby for a few hours so you can run your errands.
