A nanny is someone who will care for your children in your home on
either live-in or live-out basis. Duties will usually include
childcare and household chores. Nannies typically work full-time.
Allow yourself lots of time to find one, you will most likely be
interviewing 10 or more candidates.
Ask other moms or use a placement agency (see below). Look for
ads and billboard postings.
Get at least 3 references and be sure to check them. Remember,
you are leaving your most treasured possession and your home in care
of this person, they have to be absolutely trustworthy.
