Preschool is a school for the education of very young(2-5) children. It is not required by the state that your children attend preschool,
but many parents find that a well-chosen facility does wonders for improving the children's socialization skills, self-confidence, and
intelligence. Some children are ready to start at 2, while others are more comfortable starting at 3. Separation anxiety is often
an issue.
No matter what you decide, be sure to visit many preschools in your area.

of Child Development of the Department of Health and Human
Services. Pay attention to the quality of care, adult/child ratio,
hygiene, and curriculum.
