Reading to your child is one of the important
things you can do. It opens new worlds to them, improves their
vocabulary, and helps them do better in school. Even babies
benefit hugely from having a book read to them. For older
children, make sure they read on their own daily.
Many bookstores have story time hours that
encourage children to socialize with other kids while having books ready
to them. Story Times are free and a great way to entertain your
toddler/young child.
